Czech Government Scholarships
The Government of the Czech Republic offers scholarships under its Foreign Development Assistance program, targeting students from developing countries to pursue higher education at public institutions in the Czech Republic. Since the late 1950s, this program has supported over 20,000 students, making it a cornerstone of Czech international cooperation. For the academic year 2025/2026, eligible students can apply until 30 September 2024. The scholarship program provides options to study in Czech or English and includes a one-year-long preparatory course in the Czech language for students who choose to study in Czech-medium programs.
This scholarship is available to students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Zambia, and Belarus (democratic forces). It covers the entire duration of the study program, offering full financial support, including tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.
