The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program is a highly competitive and fully-funded scholarship for graduate students at Stanford University. Open to All Nationalities: Graduates from any nationality, ethnicity, gender, or age can apply for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship.
Enrollment in a Stanford Graduate Program: To be eligible, applicants must have been accepted into a full-time graduate program at Stanford University. This can be any graduate program, including Master's, PhD, JD, MD, or MBA.
New Graduate Enrollment: The applicant must be a newly enrolled student in a Stanford graduate program. Current Stanford graduate students are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a new full-time program.
Bachelor's Degree Timeline: The applicant must have earned their bachelor's degree in January 2018 or later. For applicants with a US military background (active duty or veteran), the degree must have been earned in January 2015 or later.
Key Attributes: Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities:Independence of Thought: Intellectual independence and creativity. Purposeful Leadership: A demonstrated record of leadership. Civic Mindset: Commitment to making a positive impact on society.
English Language Proficiency: TOEFL is accepted by all Stanford graduate programs.
The MBA program also accepts IELTS and PTE scores.

Resume/CV: Highlight your academic, professional, and leadership experiences.
Essays: Two essays focused on leadership and your plans to contribute to global challenges.
Letters of Recommendation: Two letters that vouch for your leadership skills and intellectual ability.
Transcripts: Official academic transcripts from your previous institutions.
Optional Video Statement: A brief video that introduces you and your motivations for applying.

Apply to Stanford Graduate Program: Submit an application to your chosen Stanford graduate program. This application is separate from the Knight-Hennessy Scholars application.
Knight-Hennessy Application: Complete the Knight-Hennessy Scholars application online, which includes: CV, Two recommendation letters, Essays detailing your goals and leadership experiences, A video statement (optional but encouraged).

Full Financial Support: The scholarship covers full tuition, associated fees, and a living stipend for the duration of your graduate program at Stanford.
Leadership Development: Scholars benefit from leadership development programs, including workshops, mentorship, and hands-on experience aimed at fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
