Eligible Countries: Applications are open to students from all countries around the world.
Eligible Courses or Subjects: The scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in a variety of fields, including: Engineering, Insurance, Financial Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Automation, Commerce, Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Science, and more.
General Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be international students. They must hold a valid offer of admission for an approved program at Jiangsu University.
Age Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Applicants: Must be under 25 years of age.
- Master’s Degree Applicants: Must be under 30 years of age.
- Ph.D. Applicants: Must be under 40 years of age.

Valid Copy of Passport: A clear and valid passport copy to verify the applicant’s identity and nationality.
Degree Transcript: Official academic transcripts from the most recent degree program. (Notarized English translation required if the original is not in English).
Degree Certificate: Official certificate for the completed degree program. (Notarized English translation required if the original is not in English).
English Language Proficiency Certificate: Required for applicants from non-English-speaking countries to demonstrate proficiency in English.
HSK-4 Certificate: Required for applicants applying to Chinese-Medium programs to prove proficiency in Mandarin.
Family Financial Statement: A document outlining the financial condition of the applicant's family.
Research Proposal (For Master’s and Ph.D. applicants only): A detailed research proposal relevant to the field of study.
Two Letters of Recommendation (For Master’s and Ph.D. applicants only): Letters from academic or professional references highlighting the applicant’s qualifications and potential.

Secure Admission: applicants must apply and gain admission to a degree program at Jiangsu University. This is a prerequisite for the scholarship application.

Submit the Application Form: upload the completed Presidential Scholarship Application Form to the designated section in the online admission portal at during the application process.

Scholarships for Master’s Candidates
- Type A Scholarship Coverage: CNY 25,000
  - Eligible Beneficiaries: Exceptional Jiangsu University students progressing from a Bachelor’s to a Master’s degree.
  - Candidates recommended by “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities.
  - Graduates from top 1,000 universities worldwide (based on rankings by US News & World Report, QS, THE, or ARWU).
  - Graduates from China’s “First-Class Universities” or programs in “First-Class Disciplines” or the top 1% of ESI disciplines.
- Type B Scholarship Coverage: CNY 20,000
  - Eligible Beneficiaries: All other admitted Master’s candidates.
Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates
- Type A Scholarship Coverage:
  - Full tuition, Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000), and Living Allowance (CNY 5,000).
  - Eligible Beneficiaries: Exceptional Jiangsu University students progressing from a Master’s to a Doctoral degree.
  - Candidates recommended by “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities.
  - Graduates from top 1,000 universities worldwide (based on rankings by US News & World Report, QS, THE, or ARWU).
  - Graduates from China’s “First-Class Universities” or programs in “First-Class Disciplines” or the top 1% of ESI disciplines.
- Type B Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition and Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000).
  - Eligible Beneficiaries: All other admitted Doctoral candidates.
Scholarships for Bachelor Programs Taught in English
Coverage: CNY 10,000 (for the first year ONLY).
Eligible Beneficiaries:
- New undergraduate students enrolling in the following programs: Material Science and Engineering, Electronic Commerce, Corporate Finance
