Nationality: Applicants must be non-Taiwanese citizens.

Academic Performance: Should have a strong academic record.
Health Status: Must be in good physical and mental health.
No Other Scholarships: Cannot be a recipient of other government-funded scholarships in Taiwan.
Language Requirement: Some universities may require proof of language proficiency in English or Mandarin.

Personal Statement: A written statement describing academic background, research interests, and reasons for studying in Taiwan.

Submit directly to the university within their specified application period.
For the Taiwan Scholarship: Submit the scholarship application to the Taiwan Embassy or Representative Office in your country.
