More details :

The Displaced Arab Researchers (DAR) Fellowship Program, launched by QRDI, offers a lifeline to researchers from Palestine, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, whose careers have been disrupted by ongoing conflicts. With over 30 million people displaced across the Arab world, many scientists and academics have been forced to abandon their work. The DAR fellowship provides these displaced experts with an opportunity to continue their research in Qatar, in collaboration with the country's leading universities and research institutions. This initiative not only preserves their valuable expertise but also contributes to the advancement of science in Qatar, positioning the country as a key player in global research.

The program is designed to be more than just a temporary solution. By engaging displaced scientists in collaborative projects, DAR fosters partnerships that have the potential for long-term impact. These researchers, once equipped with the resources and support they need, will eventually return to their home countries to rebuild academic networks and contribute to the recovery of their national research infrastructure. This not only helps them continue their professional journey but also ensures that their work has a lasting influence on regional development and scientific progress.

For researchers and students seeking further educational and career development opportunities, Darrab Education provides comprehensive consulting services. Darrab assists in areas such as scholarship applications, reviewing research proposals, and offering career guidance tailored to the unique challenges faced by displaced academics.
