Eligibility :
To be eligible to apply for the Belgium Government ARES Scholarship, applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:
Nationality and Residency: Be a national of, reside in, and work in one of the 31 eligible countries listed below.
Eligible Countries: Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Indonesia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Guinea (Conakry), Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
Age Requirement: Be under the age of 40 for Degree programs and under 45 for Training Courses, at the time the training is scheduled to begin.
Educational Background: Hold a diploma comparable to a 2nd cycle diploma (300 ECTS credits) from a Belgian university for specialized masters and continuing education courses.
Hold a diploma comparable to a 1st cycle diploma (180 ECTS credits) from Belgian higher education for specialization baccalaureates.
Professional Experience: Demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience in an ARES partner country.
Language Proficiency: Passive knowledge of English (reading) is required.

How to apply :
To apply for the Belgium Government ARES Scholarship, follow these steps:
Online Application via GIRAF: Create a GIRAF account (or use your existing account if it has already been created and validated by ARES).
Access the application form by navigating to: Application for international training > My tasks > Competitive calls.
Fill in the Form: You can complete the form in multiple sessions. To continue filling it, go to Competitive calls > My tasks.
Submit Your Application: Once you have completed the form, submit your application by clicking on Submit my application.
After submission, you can consult your file in the My submitted files table, but you will no longer be able to modify it.
