HIT now invites applications for its fully funded CSC Scholarship under the Chinese Government Scholarship program, available to international students worldwide. This scholarship supports Master’s and PhD studies in all academic disciplines, with a program duration of 2-3 years for Master’s and 3-4 years for Doctoral students. Eligibility :
Health: Applicants must be in good mental and physical health.
Nationality: Must be citizens of countries other than the People's Republic of China.
Compliance: Must abide by the laws of China and the rules of the university.
Single Scholarship: Applicants are not allowed to receive multiple scholarships concurrently.
Educational Background
Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age.
Doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age.
Language Proficiency
Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 4 with a minimum score of 210 (valid for two years), or proof of previous study in Chinese. No English proficiency required.
English-taught programs: TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.0 (no subtest below 5.5), or proof of previous study in English. No Chinese proficiency required.
Additional Achievements (Optional): Proof of achievements in academics, sports, arts, cultural exchange, or public welfare activities can strengthen the application but is not mandatory.

Application Form: Complete the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form available at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn.
Passport Copy: Provide a copy of the passport homepage.
Highest Degree Certificate: Submit the highest degree certificate (if graduation is pending, submit an expected graduation certificate; the official certificate must be provided upon registration).
Academic Transcripts: Include transcripts from undergraduate studies onward.
Language Proficiency Certificate: Provide evidence of required language skills.
Study Plan: Write a study plan of at least 1,500 words according to HIT’s guidelines (template provided).
Recommendation Letters: Submit two letters from professors or associate professors detailing study objectives, abilities, and future potential.
Physical Examination Record: Include a Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, valid within six months, with complete information, attending physician's signature, hospital stamp, and a sealed photograph.
Application Fee: Submit a bank receipt of the application fee (USD 60 or CNY 400).
Non-Criminal Record: Provide a non-criminal record report, issued within six months before the application submission.
Acceptance Letter (Optional): Applicants are encouraged to contact HIT supervisors prior to submission to obtain an acceptance letter.
How to apply :
Complete CSC Application Form: Visit the CSC Online Application System at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn. Select "Scholarship Type: B" and enter the HIT Agency Number "10213" on the application form.
Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of USD 60 or CNY 400 is required for material assessment. Payment details are as follows:

Send Application Documents by Post: After completing the online application, prepare all required documents in duplicate and send them by mail to the address below. Be sure to mark "CSC Scholarship Application" on the envelope.
