Chinese Government Scholarship: Chinese University Program
The Chinese Government Scholarship: Chinese University Program (Type B) is a full scholarship established by the Ministry of Education to support Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. BIT is one of the prestigious universities designated to undertake this program to recruit postgraduate students for Master and Ph.D. Programs.
Eligibility :
1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
(1) Those who apply for doctoral degree programs in China should hold a master's degree or equivalent, excel in academic performance, and should be generally under the age of 40;
(2) Those who apply for master degree programs in China should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, excel in academic performance, and should be generally under the age of 35;
(3) Applicants shall have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 or above when applying for Chinese-taught programs;
(4) Applicants shall meet the admission requirements of SWJTU in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria.

6. A Study Plan Proposal
7. Recommendation Letters (in Chinese or English)Two recommendation letters (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted.
