Eligibility :
Nationality: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
Educational Background and Age Requirements:
Master’s Program Applicants: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
Doctoral Program Applicants: Must hold a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
Academic Excellence: Applicants should demonstrate outstanding academic performance and strong research potential.
Applicants should meet the relevant requirements of the applied school in academic, language and other abilities.
No Conflicting Scholarships:Applicants must not be recipients of any other scholarships offered by the Chinese government or other organizations.
Required documents :
Application Form: Complete the Chinese Government Scholarship application form in Chinese or English.
Passport Copy: Submit a clear scanned copy of the home page of a valid ordinary passport. The passport must remain valid beyond March 1, 2024. If the current passport does not meet this requirement, apply for a new one before submitting your application.
Notarized Highest Diploma: Submit a notarized copy of your highest diploma. Prospective graduates must provide official proof of student status from their current school. Non-English or non-Chinese documents must be accompanied by notarized translations into Chinese or English.
Academic Transcripts: Provide transcripts from your undergraduate, graduate (if applicable), and doctoral (if applicable) programs. These records must be issued and sealed by the relevant department of the attending university. Non-English or non-Chinese transcripts must include notarized translations.
Study Plan Proposal: Submit a study plan of more than 1,000 words written in Chinese or English. The plan should include personal information, existing research results, research objectives, specific study plans, and post-graduation plans.
Recommendation Letters: Provide two recommendation letters written in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors. The letters should describe your learning objectives, comprehensive abilities, future potential, and cooperation or exchange details. Signatures and contact information are required.
Language Proficiency Certificate: For Chinese-taught programs: Submit HSK 5 or higher.
For English-taught programs: Submit TOEFL (minimum 80), IELTS (minimum 6.0), or a certificate of previous education conducted in English.
Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Submit a photocopy of the completed form in English. The original should be retained by the applicant. The form must include all listed items, the attending physician's signature, the hospital's official stamp, and a sealed photograph. The examination result is valid for six months.
Non-Criminal Record Report: Submit a valid certificate issued by the local public security authority within six months before the application submission.
For Fresh Graduates in China: Provide a copy of the residence permit page and a proof of school performance from the current institution.
Additional Documents: Submit optional documents such as certificates of work or internship, awards, and publications.
Self-Introduction Video: Prepare a video of up to 180 seconds (maximum 50 MB) in AVI, MOV, or MP4 format. The video should include:Self-introduction

CSC Online Application System:
Visit the CSC Online Application System to create an account.
Choose "Type B" and fill in the ZUEL agency code: 10520.
Complete and submit the application form online.
ZUEL International Student Online Service System:
Log in to the ZUEL International Student Online Service System.
Select the program titled ‘Chinese Government Scholarship’ and fill in the application form.
Upload all required documents and submit your application before the specified deadline.
Applicants must ensure all details are accurate and all required documents are submitted to avoid delays in processing.
