Eligibility :
Nationality: Applicants must be international students. South Korean citizens are not eligible for this scholarship.
Educational Background:For Master's Program: Applicants must hold or be expected to hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution before enrollment.
For Ph.D. Program: Applicants must hold or be expected to hold a Master's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution before enrollment.
For Integrated MS-Ph.D. Program: Applicants must hold or be expected to hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent before enrollment.
Academic Requirements: Applicants should have an excellent academic record and demonstrate potential for research. Specific GPA requirements may vary by program, but a strong academic performance is essential.
Language Proficiency: Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency, typically through tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, or an equivalent. A Certificate of English Proficiency issued by the applicant's home university may also be accepted as an optional document.

The Scholarship Benefits:
Tuition Assistance:
Tuition Fully Covered: All students receive full tuition support, amounting to 3,607,000 KRW per semester.
Matriculation Fee: A one-time matriculation fee of 680,000 KRW is charged to all newly admitted students. However, some students may qualify for a fee waiver.
Monthly Stipends (for All International Students):
Student Allowance: 140,000 KRW per month for Master's (M.S.) students.
295,000 KRW per month for Ph.D. students.
Meal Allowance: Approximately 100,000 KRW per month. Note: Students must have completed at least 9 credits in the previous semester to be eligible for the student and meal allowances.
International Student Allowance: 120,000 KRW per month, provided the student maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.5) in the previous semester.
Research Assistantship (for All Students Participating in Research Projects): Stipends: 6,400,000 KRW per year for M.S. students.
13,740,000 KRW per year for Ph.D. students.
Housing: Dormitory and apartment options are available for students, including accommodations for married students. However, housing availability may involve a waiting period, and fees are subject to annual increases. Additional costs for utilities and potential fees for wall papering or flooring may also apply.
