The Sur Place Scholarship for the Master “German as a Foreign Language” at the German Jordanian University, GJU, is a DAAD-funded opportunity for students who want to study a Master’s programme in the field of German as a Foreign Language, DaF. The programme begins in October 2026 and is offered at the GJU Jabal Amman Campus, with classes scheduled in the evenings and on Saturdays.
The Master’s programme is suitable for graduates in German Studies, German as a Foreign Language, or related fields who want to develop their academic and professional profile in German language education. Students can choose between a Thesis Track or a Non-Thesis Track, depending on their academic and career goals.

Eligibility :
Have a very good Bachelor’s degree in

or a closely related field

Applicants who have been living in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application cannot be considered.
Must prepare a complete application with the required documents.
Must be interested in studying the M.A. German as a Foreign Language at GJU.
Must be able to begin studies in the announced intake.
