Fully Funded: Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships
More details :
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships (GOI-IES) is a high-prestige initiative established by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Managed by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), this program is designed to attract top-tier international students from non-EU/EEA countries to study in Ireland’s world-class higher education institutions. The scholarship serves as a flagship program to promote Ireland as a global center of excellence for academic research and professional development.
The program is highly competitive and awards scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential, leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to contributing to their fields of study. By fostering international academic partnerships, Ireland aims to build a global network of alumni who serve as ambassadors for Irish education and culture. The initiative covers a wide range of disciplines, ensuring that scholars from diverse backgrounds can find a home within Ireland’s innovative and inclusive academic environment.
Recipients of the GOI-IES are recognized for their excellence and are provided with a platform to succeed in a country known for its high quality of life and vibrant economy. The scholarship typically supports one year of study, whether at the final year of an undergraduate program, a one-year taught master’s degree, or one year of a research program. This support allows students to focus on their academic goals while integrating into a society celebrated for its hospitality, safety, and deep-rooted intellectual history.
