Eligibility :
Applicants accepted into full-time graduate programs at HBKU
Scholarships are awarded based on merit or financial need, depending on available funding
Eligible candidates include both Qatari nationals and international students
Academic progress and performance must remain strong to retain funding
Required documents :
Completed online application for the graduate program
Academic transcripts and degree certificates
CV or resume
Recommendation letters (as per program requirements)
Any additional documents required by the chosen program (e.g., writing sample, personal statement)

The Scholarship Benefits:
Tuition Waiver (varies by program):
PhD (STEM): 100% waiver
PhD (SHAPE/S.J.D.): 100% waiver
Master’s (STEM): 75% waiver
Master’s (SHAPE/MA): ~60% waiver
Monthly Stipends:
PhD (Qatari): 11,000 QAR
PhD (International): 9,000 QAR
Master’s (Qatari): 9,000 QAR
Master’s (International): 7,000 QAR
Funding Duration: 45 months for PhD; 21 months for Master’s
Work Opportunities:
Research Assistant (10 hrs/week)
Teaching Assistant: up to 10 hrs/week (paid)
Student Employment Program: additional 10 hrs/week
Airfare Support: One round-trip ticket (arrival and departure) for international students
