IFAD Internship Program
More details :
The IFAD Internship Program offers students and recent graduates a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in an international development organization. IFAD describes itself as the world’s fund for transforming agriculture, rural economies, and food systems, and its work focuses on investing in rural people, reducing poverty, improving livelihoods, and strengthening food systems.
The programme is suitable for young people whose studies or interests are connected to IFAD’s mission. Interns can gain exposure to international development work, rural transformation, agriculture, food security, project support, research, policy, and global cooperation. IFAD states that internships are normally six-month opportunities for recent graduates or current students, with the possibility of an additional six-month internship for a different learning experience.
At Darrab Education, we recommend this opportunity for students and recent graduates who want to build international experience in development, agriculture, rural economies, food systems, climate, policy, economics, finance, data, communications, or project management. Applicants should always check the official IFAD website before applying because internship openings, duty stations, requirements, and deadlines may change.
