The scholarship is open to citizens from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Commonwealth countries (including Africa, Asia, Australia, British Islands & Mediterranean, Canada, The Caribbean, Americas & The Atlantic, India and Pacific regions), Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, China, Egypt, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Maldives, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Syria, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.
Eligibility :
Open to international students.
Must not be more than 40 years old for Master's programs and 45 years old for Ph.D. programs.
Academic Qualifications:
Master's Degree: A minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at a Bachelor's Degree.
Ph.D. Degree: A minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good results at the Master's degree level in a similar field of intended Ph.D. study.
A written research proposal with a minimum of 1,000 words that is relevant to the field of studies.
Proof of English Language Proficiency like IELTS or TOEFL. or official letter stating English as the medium of instruction.
Required documents :
Passport: Certified copy with at least 6 months validity.
Academic Transcripts: Certified copies including:
Undergraduate transcripts (Master's transcript for Ph.D. applicants).
Record of all courses taken.
Official document describing the grading system if transcripts lack CGPA or score details.
English Proficiency: Certified IELTS/TOEFL results or official letter stating English as the medium of instruction.
Recommendations: Letters from two referees.
Admission Letter: From a Malaysian university (if applicable).
Curriculum Vitae.
Research Proposal: For Master's by Research and Ph.D. applicants only.

The Scholarship Benefits:
Tuition Fees
Monthly Living Allowance: RM 1,500.00 per month.
Travel expenses will not be provided by the Government of Malaysia.
