PhD Positions at the Munich School for Data Science (MUDS)
More details :
The Munich School for Data Science (MUDS) is offering exciting PhD positions for students with a strong foundation in computer science, data science, or related disciplines. These positions are also ideal for those from domain sciences, such as life sciences, medicine and health, earth observation, and robotics, with a substantial focus on data science. MUDS is a joint initiative that brings together leading research institutions and universities, including Helmholtz Munich, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and prominent universities like LMU and TUM. The program aims to develop future leaders in data science by providing interdisciplinary training that combines data science methodologies with application-specific research in critical fields.
The PhD program at MUDS is designed to bridge the gap between data-driven and model-driven approaches, enabling students to develop innovative methods and apply them to real-world problems. By integrating advanced data science techniques with cutting-edge research in life sciences, medicine, earth observation, and robotics, MUDS prepares its students to tackle complex challenges and contribute significantly to their respective fields. The program also offers comprehensive training, including workshops, international research stays, and access to state-of-the-art resources, ensuring that graduates are well-equipped to become leaders in data science.
