The University of Bologna is inviting applications for its 40th cycle PhD programs for the academic year 2024/2025. The programs span a variety of disciplines and offer several types of PhD positions, including fully-funded scholarships and positions linked to specific research topics.
Eligibility :
Degrees: Applicants must hold one of the following:Italian Second-Cycle Degree (Laurea Magistrale, Laurea di Vecchio Ordinamento, AFAM)
Equivalent non-Italian degrees recognized for admission to PhD programs at the University of Bologna
Conditional Admission: Applicants yet to obtain their degree must do so by October 31st, 2024.

Identification: Scanned copy of a valid ID with a photograph (both sides).
Curriculum Vitae: Check the relevant PhD program table for specific requirements.
Degree Certificates and Transcripts:Completion and awarding of both first and second-cycle degrees.
Details including the name of the awarding institution, type of degree, graduation date, final mark, and academic transcript with exam details and marks.
For degrees awarded in a non-Italian institution, a document stating the authenticity and level of the degree.
Additional Supporting Documents: As specified in the PhD Program Table.
Request for Adaptations: For applicants needing special arrangements for the examination, along with valid health documents.
