Skoltech is a private academic and research institution situated near Skolkovo village in the Moscow Region. It was established in 2011 in collaboration with MIT to educate a new cohort of scientists and entrepreneurs, broaden the scope of scientific understanding, and drive technological innovation in order to tackle crucial research issues that could arise in Russia and the global arena. The institute integrates the most effective conventional educational and research methods from both domestic and global contexts to advance its research agenda. Skoltech emphasizes innovation and entrepreneurship by incorporating cutting-edge investigative techniques of the 21st century.
Eligibility :
Master's Programs:
An appropriate bachelor's or specialist degree or its equivalent from an accredited university.
Proficiency in English demonstrated by a minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL iBT, 450 on the TOEFL ITP, or 6 on the IELTS. A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree at a university where the medium of instruction is English.
Relevant education and training in fields related to Skoltech's programs, including computer science, computer engineering, computational mathematics, mathematics & applied mathematics, informatics, physics, applied physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, molecular biology, bio-engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, systems biology, materials science and engineering, aerospace science and engineering, astrophysics, mechanical engineering, petroleum and gas engineering, geophysics, geology, geological engineering, or significant training in a field related to one of Skoltech's programs if the student's primary education is in the humanities, business, or social sciences.
Doctoral Programs:

Note: Meeting the minimum admissions requirement does not guarantee admission. A high score on the General GRE may enhance the application, but it is not required for the Skoltech application.

The Scholarship Benefits:
All admitted MSc students will receive a fellowship including a monthly stipend and medical insurance.
The tuition fee is fully covered by the university; for students, education is free of charge.
All admitted master’s and PhD students will receive an academic stipend as well as full tuition and medical insurance.
The standard stipend for master's students is 40,000 rubles, and for graduate students, it can be upwards of 70,000 rubles.
Students who have scholarships that provide supplementary support are eligible for Skoltech funding.
