Turkey's education system is renowned for its quality and offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to students from around the world. Additionally, the country provides scholarships to international students through the Turkey Scholarships program, which is funded by the government. This program aims to support and provide financial assistance to outstanding students and researchers who wish to pursue full-time or short-term programs at top universities in Turkey. The goal of the program is to establish a network of future leaders who are dedicated to promoting mutual understanding among societies and enhancing cooperation among countries. One of the unique features of the Turkey Scholarships program is that it offers more than just financial assistance, including coverage for tuition fees, accommodation, and health insurance. It also provides university placement and access to academic, social, and cultural facilities for awardees at all levels of higher education.
Eligibility :
Citizens of all countries
Graduates or those who will graduate at the end of the current academic year (before August 2024)
Researchers and academics
Minimum Academic Achievement
For undergraduate candidates: 70%
For graduate candidates: 75%
For candidates of Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy): 90%
Age Criteria
For undergraduate programs: being under the age of 21
For master’s programs: being under the age of 30
For PhD programs: being under the age of 35
For Research Scholarship: being under the age of 50
Ineligible Groups:
Turkish citizens and individuals who have lost Turkish citizenship
Individuals who are currently enrolled in programs in Turkish universities at the level of education will apply.

For applications made online through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS), all candidates must upload the following documents to the system:
A valid identity document, ID card or passport
A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year
National exam results (if any)
Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
Transcript
International exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.) if required by the chosen university or program
International language test results such as TOEFL, DELF if required by the chosen university or program
A proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications)
How to apply :
Create your personal account on the Türkiye Scholarships Application system here.
Upload all required documents. It will also be beneficial for you to include your extracurricular activities and achievements in different fields.
Write an original letter of intent explaining your preferences, expectations and goals for the future.
Choose up to 12 universities and be consistent when selecting your programs.
Make revisions to your application and submit it.

It allows you to take full advantage of widespread health services when necessary with health insurance.
It also provides a monthly stipend of 3.500 TL for undergraduate students, 5.000 TL for Master's students, and 6.500 TL for PhD students per month.
