The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarship Program supports international students who demonstrate academic excellence, strong political or social commitment, and leadership potential. The program funds postgraduate and doctoral studies in Germany. It targets students who share democratic values and aim to contribute to social and political development in their home countries. All courses are supported across various disciplines, but the scholarship prioritizes applicants interested in policy, law, economics, and social sciences.Scholarship holders receive full financial support, including a monthly stipend, health insurance subsidies, and family allowances where applicable. The program also includes personal mentoring, access to seminars, and membership in a global alumni network. Applicants must demonstrate German language proficiency (minimum B2), hold a university degree with above-average results, and plan to study in Germany for at least four semesters. Eligibility :
You hold a university degree with above-average academic results
You are no older than 30 at the time of application
You have strong interest and involvement in political, social, or community work
You plan to study in Germany for at least 4 semesters
You demonstrate a clear commitment to democratic values and civic responsibility
You possess German language skills at a minimum B2 level
You can show proof of acceptance or enrollment at a German university (or plan to apply)
You are from a country that KAS targets through its international offices (if applying from abroad)
You are not receiving another scholarship from a German institution
You intend to return to your home country and contribute to its development after graduation

Confirmation of supervision from doctoral advisor
