The Chinese Government Scholarship – High-Level Postgraduate Program at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue Master’s or Doctoral degrees in China. Eligibility :
  • Be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old for Master’s programs.

  • Hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old for Doctoral programs.

  • Demonstrate excellent academic performance.

  • Language requirements:
    For Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 or above.
    For English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 86 minimum.

  • Meet UIBE’s specific academic and program entry requirements.

Required documents :
  • Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form (download from CSC system).

  • Passport information page (valid beyond September 30, 2026).

  • Highest diploma or certificate of enrollment (notarized in Chinese or English).

  • Academic transcripts (from undergraduate level onward, with stamps).

  • Language certificates: HSK 5+ (Chinese-taught) or IELTS/TOEFL (English-taught).

  • Study or Research Plan (minimum 1,000 words in Chinese or English).

  • Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors).

  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form (signed, stamped, and within 6 months).

  • Non-criminal record certificate (issued within 6 months).

  • Other supporting materials (if applicable, e.g., published papers, achievements).

How to apply :
  • Step 1: Apply via CSC Online System

    • Visit the Chinese Government Scholarship website.

    • Please note that the Program Category is B, and the Agency NO. of UIBE is 10036.

    • Fill in the online form in Chinese or English (no handwritten applications).

    • Upload all required documents.

  • Step 2: Submit Materials to UIBE

    • Email the CSC application form and all supporting documents to: uibescholarship@163.com

    • Use the subject line: “UIBE + Type B”.

    • Ensure all uploaded and emailed materials are identical.

  • Step 3: University Review & Interview

    • UIBE will conduct an initial review and organize professional interviews.

    • Qualified applicants will receive a Pre-admission Notice (by email).

    • Upload the pre-admission notice to the CSC system before the deadline.

  • Step 4: Admission and Enrollment

    • Final results will be issued by June–July 2026.

    • Successful candidates will receive an Official Admission Notice.

    • Registration takes place in September 2026 in Beijing.
