More details :

The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) offers an extraordinary opportunity for professionals from developing countries committed to advancing their nations' development. The scholarship supports master’s degree programs in development-related fields at 41 participating programs across 24 universities worldwide, including institutions in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan. Eligible applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree earned at least three years prior, have at least three years of paid development-related work experience, and be unconditionally admitted to one of the participating programs. The scholarship emphasizes creating future leaders who can contribute to social and economic development in their home countries.

The scholarship covers tuition, basic medical insurance, round-trip airfare, and a monthly subsistence allowance for living expenses, with a maximum duration of two years. Selection is based on criteria such as professional experience, recommendations, commitment to home country development, and educational background, while also ensuring geographical and gender diversity.
